The Shenmue - Chapter 1 Yokosuka double-CD soundtrack contains many of the wonderful compositions held within this sprawling epic of a game, with the first disc containing 20 tracks, and the second disc having 19.
Several legendary composers can be found on the Shenmue soundtrack, including Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, Yuzo Koshiro, Takeshi Yanagawa, Osamu Murata, and Ryuji Iuchi. Each bringing to the table the wonderful sense of melody, rhythm, atmosphere, drama, and heart that makes Shenmue so incredibly unique.
Bonus Stage: Track 5 on Disc 1 is titled ‘Christmas on Dobuita Street’, and is the track that inspired this post. Have you come across Santa in Yokosuka?
