The classic Sega Genesis 3-Button controller instantly brings us back to a time when an extra 8-Bits of computing power (and an extra button) were mind-blowing concepts!
With morphing mythological Beasts, an action-packed Battle finale, a return to a legendary Fantasy Zone, two Forces of Thunder, and more, the Sega Genesis launch truly felt like a new era of boundless interactive excitement and creativity!
What games first come to mind when you see this classic controller? 🦔
*Retro Memory: Sega of America held a 'Sega World Tour' mall event back in 1991, where several Genesis games of the time were available to play, including Revenge of Shinobi, Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Sonic, and more. One of the games we remember playing at the tour was Quackshot: Starring Donald Duck (and being incredibly impressed!). The version on display at the time may have been a work-in-progress as the classic Disney character 'Pete' had different cameos throughout the demo that didn't appear in the final version of the game (such as peeking around corners in Duckburg). Do you remember the '91 Sega World Tour, or did you have a similar Sega event in your region of the world?
