Which 'Hue' are you?
Nothing quite like those 16-Bit colors! The TurboGrafx-16's HuCARDs are a classic media format that were home to some incredible games and memories.
Many of the early HuCARD offerings from 1989 and 1990 were presented with simple, vibrant colors and a standard font (we'll call it Turbo-font!) for the game's title blazoned across the front. From blue, pink, green, orange, maroon, aquamarine, and more, HuCARDs really stood out from the standard cartridge crowd with their simplicity, eye-catching colors, and unique playing-card size and shape.
What are your memories with the TurboGrafx-16 and its memorable media format? Do you have a favorite HuCARD and color?
I borrowed my friend's TurboExpress for a week once, what a great little handheld and so ahead of its time! Beat Neutopia and played a lot of Ninja Spirit.
