“It's Thinking... About Storage!"
The ‘GD-ROM’ (Gigabyte Disc-Read Only Memory) was a very unique medium in the gaming transition from CD-Rom to DVD. With the ability to hold up to 1GB of data, it offered more storage capacity (around 300 megabytes more) compared to its older sibling, the CD-ROM. While the North American and European GD-ROMs didn’t label the discs as such, the Japanese GD-ROMs all carried a unique ‘GD-ROM’ logo on the discs.
Which regional design do you prefer, and what are your favorite GD-ROMS for the DC?
