Crossed Swords is a 1st / 3rd person Action-Adventure / RPG that offered a much different experience to the more usual fighting or action game fare that was omnipresent in Arcades in the early 90’s. With beautiful graphics, lush colors, and a great soundtrack, Crossed Swords is a unique adventure that maintains a nice mid-tempo pace and gives the player the ability to upgrade weapons from merchants, and make different path choices along the way.
While the NEO GEO may not have been known to offer many traditional RPG experiences (being mainly an Arcade focused platform) Crossed Swords was a smart, action-packed hybrid, that melded RPG adventure and aesthetics, with tried-and-true Arcade action that catered perfectly to Game Center wandering RPG fans!
