Not only did this wonderful promo / demo disc (that contained the first stage of NiGHTS: Into Dreams decked out with a new wintery Christmas theme) have a ton of content to explore and discover, it also showcased the Sega Saturn’s unique internal clock to provide date-specific game content.

If you would like to experience these bonus features all in one day, you can easily achieve this by going into the Saturn’s system settings and changing the date to match the respective content you’d like to see.

While the idea of date specific content may seem dated by current gaming standards, these memorable unlock-ables came as a huge, delightful surprise to gamers in the mid-90's.
